About Phil
Phil works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD and intrusive thoughts, trauma/PTSD, school and academic stress, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, and life transitions. He is passionate about creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Using a trauma-informed and client-centred approach, Phil integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet each client's unique needs. He collaborates with clients to build practical skills, increase self-awareness, and foster lasting growth and resilience.
His academic background includes an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University. When he is not in the therapy room, Phil enjoys being in nature, and playing sports and board games.
